What are your hours?

Drop off and pickup hours are daily 8:00-9:00am and 4:00PM-5:00PM or by appointment, due to limited staffing. 

​

Are you open holidays?

Holidays including New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day- the lobby will not be open for drop offs, but pickups will be by appointment only.

 

Are any dog breeds not allowed?

No, we do not discriminate based on breed.

​

What should I bring with?

We encourage you to bring your pets food to stay consistent. Treats are okay, along with their favorite toys or washable blankets. (We cannot guarantee items from home will leave in the same condition).

​

What vaccinations are required for my dog?

Dogs must be up to date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Please be sure your dog is flea free and on flea and tick prevention. Proof of vaccinations required.

What vaccinations are required for my cat?

Rabies is the only vaccine required; however, Bordetella and distemper are highly encouraged.

Are dog meet and greets required before a stay?

No.

​

Does my dog need to be neutered/spayed?

No, but we do not accept females in heat.

​

Do you offer upgrades? Extra cuddles, extra playtime etc. for extra charges?

No. We give all pets staying with us unlimited cuddles and attention without additional charges.

​

What happens if a dog or cat becomes sick during their stay?

We will contact the owner as soon as possible and discuss next steps. If the situation becomes an emergency, we will call Oakwood Animal Hospital and notify the owner.

​

Will we administer medication?

Yes, we will administer oral or topical medications brought in their original container at no extra cost.
